nyans.app — third-party notices

This is the marketing site for Nyans (https://app.nyans.app). Its own content
is proprietary. The notices below cover material that is redistributed by this
site — that is, sent to your browser when you load the page.

The obligations attach to *serving* these files, not to publishing any source.
This site and the app are deployed separately, to separate domains, and each
one distributes its own copies; the app carries its own notices at
https://app.nyans.app/NOTICE, which cover components this site does not serve
(LibRaw, libjpeg, Little CMS, OpenColorIO/ACES).


1. Web fonts  (served from /fonts/)

    The font files themselves also carry a copyright line naming "The Geist
    Project Authors" in their name table (name ID 0), alongside a licence
    declaration (name ID 13) and the OFL's URL (name ID 14). Both attributions
    are upstream's; neither is ours to reconcile.

    Subset from the upstream variable fonts (geist@1.7.2 on npm — Geist
    Version 1.800, Geist Mono Version 1.700) to the latin range this page
    needs, with the weight axis intact, by tools/subset-fonts.py in the Nyans
    repository. Subsetting is a modification, which the OFL permits; upstream's
    copyright line declares no Reserved Font Name, so the subsets keep the
    family names.

    The full licence text is served alongside the fonts at /fonts/OFL.txt —
    the copy the OFL requires to travel with the font files.

    Derived from the 8K scene-linear HDRI, tone-mapped and encoded to AVIF and
    WebP. CC0 requires no attribution; the credit beneath the image on the page
    is a courtesy, and is given because the frame is the whole demonstration.


3. Everything else
-------------------
The page has no third-party scripts, stylesheets, trackers, analytics or fonts
loaded from anyone else's server. It makes no network requests beyond this
origin, which is both the privacy position and the entire performance strategy.
Wrangler is used to deploy and is not redistributed.
